Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actor who is best known for the fantasy television show Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Te Enamores. Additionally, she dances and is also a model. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas since childhood, and always loved dancing. She has been training in various dance styles since she was young. As a 15-year-old, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008, after she was a part of two seasons of Univision beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. In an episode from Telemundo's TV show, Telenovela Aurora, she played a receptionist. Her debut film was an action-drama called Tattooed Love in 2015. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter earned her recognition at The Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
