Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor who was born on 17 October 1992. Her films are mainly in Tamil or Telugu however she has a role in some Malayalam ones. She was awarded the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role as actress Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded three SIIMA Awards as well as a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her professional career started in the early 2000s, as a young actor. Her return to film after completing her studies in fashion. Her first main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and signed up to be a part of several Tamil films at the same time. It is A. L. Vijay together with Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do quite well, however it did release. Because of her hectic schedule for 2015, she had no choice but to pull out of films which she already began making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She worked in two films in rapid succession with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note for Prabhu's Thodari. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu is not yet announced, it is reported that it may be in September 2020. Subsequently, the first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay.
