Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than twenty years. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently serves as its president. Buss was born in California and grew up as part of a rich family. Jerry Buss, her father, was an entrepreneur in the field of real estate and later eventually became the proprietor of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. Following the divorce of her parents in 1972 and she started to feel as if she was abandoned. When she was 19, she began working within the family's company. Later she created the Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. She was president of the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice president for the Lakers. Buss along with her five sisters were heirs to the Lakers majority ownership following the passing of Busshis father in the year 2013. Each of the sisters had equal rights. In 2013, she took over the presidency for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles which is an organization that promotes pro wrestling.
