John Denver is a popular artist and musician who has touched a multitude of people through his songs. The majority of his hits have roots in Colorado. He was born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico he fell in the love of Colorado before settling in Aspen. More than a few people took the road toward Colorado after listening to Denver's iconic songs for his home state. G. Brown the curator of Colorado Music Hall of Fame said the fact that John Denver was the best performer in capturing Colorado. Denver was the Hall of Fame's first ever inductee. Denver has become the image of Colorado for many people all over the world. In my journeys, you meet someone from the opposite side of the world someone comes from New Zealand and you say 'I'm from Colorado and the first word that comes they say is"Oh John Denver! Brown said. Take Me Home Country Roads was the top solo success after performing with a small group of folk musicians. It was written by and recorded by Bill Danoff. Danoff composed the track with the inspiration of Johnny Cash, but Denver had the opportunity to listen to the song's early versions and was aware that the song would be a top 10 hit. The artist recorded the song in just a few weeks when he performed it in front of an enthusiastic audience on the streets of Washington D.C.
